Technique
Lauracharlie’s most frequently used material is silk. She also works with other natural fibres such as linen, superfine cotton and wool. Silk is hard-wearing, warm and an easy care fabric.
It can be machine washed on a suitable programme or hand washed in cold water with a neutral detergent. Due to its elasticity, it only needs a warm iron to restore its original appearance. It can also be dry cleaned.
These simple instructions are all that is required for a perfect maintenance of the fabric and its colour.
